Dr. Dave is the best physician! He listened, for what seemed like hours to every single concern of mine during my first visit. He worked with me to develop a plan to address each concern. I also had to visit to get fluids after coming down with some flu like illness and his staff was so amazing. They all, including Dr. Dave, helped to keep my 6 year old busy while I rested and recuperated. You feel so invited and relaxed and are very well taken care of while visiting. Make sure when you go to ask about Zach at Access Aesthetics - Trust me when I say you will be amazed. 5+++ stars to this entire group!

Was a patient for 3 years. Had extremely difficult issues to deal with. He had patience and consistency to see me through. Very detail oriented. Housed in a beautiful downtown Charleston home, his office space is very welcoming to anyone who has an aversion to medical offices. Polar opposite experience of what you'd find at a hospital. Loved it. Highly recommend 7 stars!!!

This place is just out of the ordinary. We were visiting Charleston from overseas and needed to see a doctor. They gave us a very convenient appointment without any problems. Staff, nurse and doctor were very sensitive to our need. A prescription was provided for us and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacations very nicely. All people working there are super nice and prices are remarkably convenient. By the way, the place decoration is outstanding if you like vintage medical furniture. Thanks Peter and Karina. Dr. Dave and all the staff at Access are incredible. They not only listen to your issues but also work individually to ensure the highest levels of professionalism. When you enter the office, you are greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel comfortable immediately. The staff has requested follow-ups and even checked in on me a few days after an appointment. I could not recommend Access any higher and think Dr. Dave as well as his entire staff are excellent!

Stopped her while on a mini vacation and what a blessing! Walked in and taken care of immediately. They made what could’ve been a miserable time a memorable one. They ensured the treatment I received was for long term benefits rather than a quick fix. Just like healthcare should be. Much appreciation and a heartfelt thanks to the team caring for me.

On top of this practice being the ONLY urgent care open in the area on such a very snowy day. Dr. Albenberg did a wonderful job on helping me get my health back. I can’t be thankful enough. I appreciated the patience and seamless visit. I am now able to get back to work promptly. Thank you again!

This was the nicest, cleanest, and most welcoming urgent care I have ever been to. We brought our son while in Charleston for a few weeks and they were so great. We got in immediately, and the NP took her time and we never felt rushed. The office is beautiful and the staff were awesome. Every urgent care/doctors office should feel this way. I never write reviews but had to!!

I made an appointment and was seen same day after having random medical issues and struggling to find a doctor who does true comprehensive evaluations. The receptionist I spoke to was super informative regarding my questions about their memberships. My appointment with Dr. Burson was the thoroughest appointment I’ve ever had and I spent the entire 60 minutes face to face with her - which NEVER happens anywhere else I’ve been. My husband (who is trans) was impressed enough to ask for an appointment for himself and she fit him in right after me. She was just as thorough with him and was so kind and understanding and took the time to ask questions to understand his unique needs. Finding a doctor who is smart, takes their time, and is compassionate is a rare find. I’ve never had to wait more than an hour for a message back from her either. The membership concept was something I had to think through, but at the end of the day I’m spending way less than the deductible I have with my insurance. Worth the price and the drive it takes to get downtown from Summerville.

I had such a fantastic experience at Access Medical Urgent Care in Charleston. From the moment I walked in, there was absolutely no wait, and the entire appointment felt thorough, attentive, and genuinely caring. My visit lasted about 30 minutes, and they were able to provide the necessary medication directly in-office instead of sending me to a separate pharmacy, which made such a difference when I was already feeling awful. From the time I started feeling unwell to the time I had a diagnosis, treatment, and was heading home feeling better was only about an hour, incredibly efficient without ever feeling rushed. The office itself is beautiful and honestly the nicest urgent care I’ve ever been to. Even more importantly, every single staff member was exceptionally kind, compassionate, and professional. This was genuinely one of the best medical appointments and examinations I’ve ever had, even compared to many visits with my regular primary care physicians. Highly recommend Access Medical Urgent Care to anyone needing prompt, high-quality care in Charleston.
